Introduction:-
Mohammad Rafi was born in Dec 24th in 1924. His birth place was Kotla Sultan Singh in India. He was died in July 31st 1980 in Mumbai India. He was 55 years older at the time of death. He was famous as a playback singer of Hindi film industry. Mohammad Rafi singing specially linked with classical music. Mohammad Rafi sung large number of patriotic songs and lamentations. His singing was includes highly romantic ghazals and qawwalis. He got fame between 1950's to 1970. He was honored with six Fimfare Awards and one National Film Award in 1967th. Mohammad Rafi also honored with the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India.Mohammad Rafi sung approximately more the 7,400 songs in different languages. His singing includes the languages like Punjabi, Odia, Konkani, Bhohpuri, Sindhi ,Kannada Gujarati, Telugu, Magahi, Bengali, Merathi and Urdu but besides these languages, M.Rafi sung in international languages like Farsi, Sinhalese, Creole, Dutch, Arabic and English. Mohammad Rafi move to Mumbai in 1944. he rented a ten-by ten feet room in Bhendi Bazar area. The poet Mr.Tanvir Naqvi introduced Mohammad Rafi to film producers with Abdur Rashid kardar, Mehboob Khan annd Nazeer. Mr.Shyam sunder gives him the opportunity to sing a duet with G.M Durrani, "aji dill ho kaabu mein to dildar ki aisi taisi" for the movie Gaon ki Gori. This duet song becomes the first recording of M.Rafi.
Mohammad Rafi perform first time at the age of 13, when he sang in Lahore featuring K.L Saigal. Under Shyam Sundar, made his debut in Lahore as playback singer in duet,"Soniye nee, Heeriye nee" with Zeena Begum in 1944 for the film Gul Baloch.
